shewmaker Animal Hospital is a small animal clinic in Labelle, FL. My sister and I are working to keep our fathers clinic open part time and eventually open full time with full services. work days needed Friday and Saturday. opportunity to work at Riverdale Veterinary Clinic also.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
– Collect and update patient information, medical history, and insurance details
– Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling during examinations and procedures
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
– Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records
– Provide basic pet care advice to clients and answer general inquiries about veterinary services
– Coordinate prescription refills and communicate with pharmacies as needed
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
– Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and aseptic techniques
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
– Proficient in computer systems for scheduling appointments, managing records, and processing payments
– Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, including dogs of all sizes and temperaments
– Familiarity with equine care is a plus
– Knowledge of dog training techniques is beneficial
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
