Job Description
Provide accurate and thorough care for all patients
Obtain medical history from clients
Enter medical history in patient charts
Enter charges to patient accounts
Monitor hospitalized patients and help with treatments
Assist with surgical prep and monitor patients
Demonstrate proper restraint for blood draws, nail trims and exams
Accurately fill prescriptions
Maintain inventory and stock levels
Basic reception duties
Responsible for proper cleaning and disinfecting after each patient
Collaborate with a variety of doctors and team members
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Must be a self-starter and motivated
Able to multitask
Ability to meet physical demands of the job. This position requires lifting, carrying, and restraining animals (will be assisted with team members when lifting animals over 50lbs).
Walks or stands for extended periods of time, and frequently working in the squatting position.
Experienced with the teamwork approach and works well with all members of the hospital.
Prefer at least 2 years of experience
