Duties
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
Manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians as needed during examinations or procedures.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
Skills
Strong knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy to assist in client education.
Experience as a veterinary technician or in a veterinary clinic setting is highly desirable.
Proficient in dog handling techniques to ensure safety during visits.
Familiarity with animal husbandry practices to provide accurate information to pet owners.
Ability to perform animal restraint when necessary for examinations or treatments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
