We are currently seeking a bright, energetic , and friendly individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in veterinary medicine and a propensity to work well with an active and diverse clientele. The Receptionist will greet clients and answer phones in a calm, informative manner. As an Assistant you will help the Veterinarian with exam and perform vital labratory testing. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a veterinary office.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct telephone calls.
Assist customers with scheduling appointments.
Assist with handling incoming emergencies.
Perform office clerical duties.
Handle email correspondence.
Handle cash and credit card payments from clients.
Assist with filing, faxing, copying, scanning, and organizing patient records and documents.
Animal Restraint for exam and testing.
Perfoming medical tests. X-Ray, Fecal Floatation, Blood collection and processing.
Stocking & Inventory
Assist in exams and surgery .
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
