This is a very rewarding position offering the ability to help animals while learning and developing technical skills in an awesome work environment. Although the position can sometimes be emotionally (and physically) taxing, helping animals is often referred to as a “calling” for those of us lucky enough to be paid to do what we love. However, it isn’t always rainbows and sunshine the position requires a decent amount of communicating with humans and secretarial work to help the office run smoothly.Veterinary clinic experience is required.The list of qualifications you must possess to be considered:A self starter (be able to determine a task and jump in to complete it), be able to multitask(!), compute basic math (division, multiplication, addition), know how to successfully and carefully restrain an animal if needed, must be attentive and observant, experience with Avimark and making apts correctly, set up tests/annuals, MUST know and understand veterinary terminology, available Saturdays to work a short shift (8am-12pm), personable (good attitude, willing to take healthy criticism, work well with others, etc.) AND above all you must LOVE animals!Pay will be based on individual experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountHealth insurancePaid time offExperience:Veterinary clinic: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute:Naples, FL 34119 (Required)Work Location: In person
