Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and excellent customer service skills.
Currently in need of a vet assistant/receptionist for more morning shift help, open to evening help as well.
we most likely will start to hire on afterwards BUT if wanting to get started sooner rather then later, please let us know.
Duties:
– Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
– Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
– Assist with billing and processing payments
– Maintain accurate records of patient information
– Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff
– Keep the reception area clean and organized
– Kennel Worker
-Organizational and time management skills
-Restrain animals during examination and laboratory procedures
Requirements:
– Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of animal anatomy and basic animal care
– Familiarity with aseptic techniques for handling medical equipment
Desired Skills:
– Animal husbandry
– Veterinary critical care
