Collier Animal Hospital in Atlanta is looking for a veterinary technician or an experienced veterinary assistant to join our team. We just moved into a new building with lots of windows for natural light throughout the building, an outdoor exam room, a double surgery suite, a double dental suite, a HUGE staff break area with rooftop patio, and a full bathroom with shower (because anal glands happen). We are a paperless facility providing wellness care, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, dentistry, and some oncology. We are a progressive team with a loyal and established clientele. We have fun while working hard and our clients notice and appreciate it.
Our new veterinary technician or veterinary assistant will need to pass a standard background check and job duties will include:
Providing friendly and knowledgeable client care
Venipuncture and catheter placement
Running in-house lab work
Obtaining radiographs and dental radiographs
Safe animal restraint
Preparing patients for surgery
Accurately and thoroughly maintaining patients’ charts
We are looking for a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant who is passionate about client education, takes pride in their patient care, and will be a bright and enthusiastic addition to our team.
