Veterinary Assistant – Emergency & Critical Care
Swing & Overnight Shifts | $19–$25/hr + $2/hr Overnight Differential

We are currently hiring experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) team for overnight and swing shifts. If you’re looking to expand your skills in a high-paced setting with a tight-knit, no-drama team—this is the job for you.
Pay & Schedule:
$19–$25/hour depending on experience
$2/hour overnight shift differential
Full-time (36–40 hours/week) and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions available
Swing and overnight shifts include weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with triage, procedures, radiographs, and patient care
Restrain animals safely and compassionately
Collect and process lab samples (urine, feces, blood)
Maintain clean, organized, and stocked treatment areas
Support veterinarians and technicians during critical care treatments
Communicate with clients in person and by phone
Handle basic computer tasks and medical record entry
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year veterinary assistant experience (ER/specialty preferred but not required)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with digital records and basic software (Word/Excel)
Able to lift 40+ lbs (with help) and work on your feet for long periods
