Position: Veterinary Assistant/CSR (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Fairfax Veterinary Hospital is a progressive, community-focused practice nestled in the heart of quaint Fairfax City. As a newer hospital, we’re growing—and we’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant/CSR to join our caring and dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, friendly service to clients—both in person and via phone, email, text, and app communications
- Support the healthcare team by assisting with animal handling and care
- Maintain accurate data entry, record keeping, and filing
- Help create a welcoming, organized environment for clients and pets
- Contribute to team training and onboarding as skills grow
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Able to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Team player with strong multitasking and communication skills who is also able to work independently when needed
- Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred
- May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, bites, scratches, and/or contagious diseases
- Resume and at least 3 references required

- Part-Time or Full-Time: Morning, evening, and weekend shifts available
