Highland Pointe Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time veterinary client services representative to join our full-service, AAHA-ACCREDITED practice. We recently moved into our NEW STAND-ALONE hospital in Flower Mound, Texas! Our location is conveniently minutes from the DFW airport and I-35 East and West making it a desirable place to live and work!
Unlike human hospitals, animal hospitals are not required to be accredited. Veterinary hospitals are evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence in order to become accredited. In actuality, ONLY 12-15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA.
Our team at Highland Pointe Animal Hospital enjoys helping dogs and cats. We see wellness cases, sick cases, and emergency cases. Duties for the position include but are not limited to:
Answering phone calls
Calling clients to remind of upcoming appointments and due/past-due preventative medicine
Monitoring and use of practice email
Monitoring and use of software for client email/text reminders
Scheduling appointments and surgical procedures
Providing client education
Providing hospitality to clients and pets for the entire duration of their visits
Checking in/out clients
Processing payments
Cleaning and maintaining organization of the front desk, lobby, and exam rooms
