Veterinary Assistant Jobs in Georgetown, TX at Northwest Pet Hospital
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, efficient veterinary technician. We provide our clients’ pets with high-quality, comprehensive care. Responsibilities will include collecting thorough medical information from clients regarding their pet’s visit, preparing and/or running laboratory samples for in-house or reference lab testing, successfully restraining animals, exam room care, as well as shared reception duties and shared cleaning tasks. Candidates must have previous experience with small animals in a work environment and be able to lift 40 lb animals with care. Organization and good interpersonal communication skills are required. Experience with AVIMARK and clinical experience are preferred. Training will be considered for the right candidate, but previous experience with small animals in a work environment is required.
This is a 30+ hour a week job. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Our clinic hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We are closed on all major holidays.
