York Animal Hospital is a privately owned and operated AAHA accredited, small animal hospital seeking an energetic, customer service oriented Client Care Specialist . We are conveniently located in Livingston County, NY, a short 30-minute drive from Rochester.
The Client Care Specialist is the first point of contact with the public and must have an outgoing, inviting, patient and professional personality. Our team of Veterinarians, Licensed Vet Techs and knowledgeable support staff work hard to be a cohesive team that provides the best care for our patients and clients. The Client Care Specialist is responsible for relaying incoming phone calls, greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner, and performing various clerical duties.
Responsibilities:
Greet and screen incoming visitors, promptly notifying appropriate staff members.
Accurately collect all forms of payment and issue receipts and appropriate paperwork to customers.
Answer multi-line telephone systems, take accurate messages, and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
Operate standard office equipment including:
Multi-Line Telephone system
Facsimile/photocopier
Impromed Database
Credit Card Machine
Accurately direct incoming mail and send documents via facsimile, email, or mail on a daily basis.
Type correspondences and memorandums in correct format.
Maintain office supply inventory and request additional items as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
