Have fun with our team. We have potlucks, many lunches monthly and an entire committee that looks out for the health and wellness of our staff. We have done many group activities including smash rooms, bonfires, whirly ball and have top notch entertainment at our yearly staff holiday party.
As an assistant you are instrumental in helping the veterinarian technicians with all the pet care needs. This commonly includes holding pets for procedures and running lab tests among other jobs. We are accepting applicants without experience and will provide on the job training. Applicants with past veterinary experience are also encouraged to apply.
ZimmVet provides staff advancement opportunities. As an assistant you could have the opportunity to move into a customer service or uncertified technician role. We also have a training program for employees in veterinary technician school.
