Seeking 1 Full time Veterinary Assistant at Beachside’s first veterinary clinic, South Patrick Animal Hospital.
Here at South Patrick Animal Hospital, we provide quality care to dogs, cats and pocket pets with traditional medicine as well as holistic care options which includes acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments.
Compassion and integrity are a must
Daily duties include basic phone and computer use, house cleaning, patient check-in, animal handling, exam room assistance, sample collection including fecal, urine and learning blood collection. Lab and surgery skills will be trained which include microbiology, surgical prep and monitoring, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring as well as induction and intubation.
1+ years in animal care experience is required

Have a customer focused attitude
Schedule will vary but can expect a range of 32-35 hours per week. Work week is typically Monday-Friday with 1 weekday off and no weekend shifts. Pay will be based on past experience and ability.
