The Avian Medical Center is a bird exclusive veterinary hospital in Lake Oswego, Oregon. We are searching for a veterinary assistant who is calm, compassionate and detailed oriented. We work with all kinds of birds all day, so comfort in being around them is important in both their care and the health of our patients. Daily tasks include: cleaning treatment areas, cages and incubators, cleaning and feeding boarding birds, checking boarders in and out, filling prescriptions, assisting the doctor and technician as needed. Applicants must enjoy a fast paced and noisy work environment. Benefits include health insurance and paid vacation time after 90 days.
