Responsibilities:
– Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
– Perform animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff
– Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
– Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas
– Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments
– Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required
– Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
