Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Assist veterinarians and technicians during patient exams and treatments.
Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately.
Obtain patient histories and update medical records.
Educate clients on general pet care, vaccines, and preventative medicine.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment.
Prepare and administer medications under veterinary supervision.
Support with laboratory sample collection, x-rays, and other diagnostic testing.
Assist in handling prescription medications and refills per veterinary instructions.
Provide compassionate and professional client communication.
Compensation: $ 17 – 25 /hr
Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities are available.
