Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of Virginia is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, hard working individual to join our Richmond team. We provide a number of services, products and guidance to best service the animals within our community. This position is to assist our acupuncture DVM, will be forward facing with clients, and must be driven and work well independently.
Duties include:
Completing the opening and closing procedure each day at the facility
This includes but is not limited to kennel cleaning, dishes, laundry, trash removal, vacuuming, moping, wiping down surfaces, ect.
Providing a high level of customer services to clients
Handling patients in a safe and stress-free manner
Following the direction and guidance provided by the Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian
Learn how to perform therapies as directed by the Veterinarian
Requirements:
Can lift up to 50 pounds
Is able to work on the floor, squat, bend, ect., as this can be a physically demanding job
Canine and/or feline behavior knowledge is preferred
Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required
