Arbor Hills Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our outpatient care team plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.

In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, and address clients’ questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.

This is a full-time position, with a 4-10s schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. No weekends!

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

Compensation: $18-20 per hour, for each hour worked*

Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience

Minimum Qualifications And Skillset

3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting

Proficiency in the following skills:

Radiology

Phlebotomy

Surgical setup and assisting

Inpatient care
