What You’ll Do:
As a Veterinary Assistant at Denver Cat Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our medical team and delivering the best care to our patients and clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Handling and restraining cats with feline-friendly techniques.
Assisting doctors and technicians with medical treatments, diagnostic tests, and procedures.
Obtaining health histories from clients and documenting them accurately in our electronic medical records.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient and treatment areas.
Restocking and organizing medical supplies.
Advancing your skills and knowledge in feline-exclusive medicine.
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced: 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting (CSR, kennel attendant, vet assistant, or similar) preferred.
Compassionate: Loves working with cats and understands their unique needs.
Skilled: Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic environment and handles challenges with a positive attitude.
Physically Capable: Able to lift and restrain cats of at least 20 lbs and work on your feet most of the day.
