We’re Hiring! Full-Time Veterinary Assistants – Evening Shifts
Location: McLean Animal Hospital, McLean, VA
Pay: $15 – $17/hour (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)

We’re an AAHA-certified, full-service dog and cat practice with 9 veterinarians on staff. If you want a career where you make a difference in the lives of pets and their people every day—this is the place.
Shifts Available:
- Evening: Mon–Fri, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Every Other Weekend Required:
- Saturday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Once monthly: return Sunday 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Set day off during the week when working a weekend
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments and treatments
- Monitoring and caring for ICU and surgical patients
- Providing nursing care to boarding pets
- Running routine tech appointments
- Maintaining treatment areas and equipment
- Jumping in wherever needed—because that’s what teammates do!

Who We’re Looking For:

✔ 1+ year of vet assistant experience
✔ Must live within 30 miles of McLean, VA
