We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top-notch veterinary services.
Responsibilities
– Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
– Handle and restrain animals during treatments
– Perform animal catheterization when required
– Assist with equine care if needed
– Help with pet grooming tasks
– Provide basic pet care including feeding and exercising
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility
Qualifications
– Experience in animal handling and restraint
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
– Familiarity with animal physiology
– Previous experience in a veterinary setting is a plus
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
