Northpointe Animal Hospital is searching for a Veterinary Assistant to help us grow our small animal practice!
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Those with prior veterinary, humane society, or other animal-related experience are encouraged to apply, however, we’re also open to training.
Veterinary Assistants play a very important role at Northpointe Animal Hospital. Individuals that are committed to a long-term career in veterinary medicine are highly encouraged to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:
Assisting in exams
Client communication and education
Patient handling and restraint
Administering vaccines and medications
Blood draws and IV catheter placement
Outpatient procedures
Microscopic evaluation
Pharmacy duties
Handling medical records
General cleaning
Assisting with phone calls
Full-time benefits:
Compensation: $14 – $17/hour (based on experience)
Bonus package: $500 (3+ years of current, consecutive experience)
