Veterinary Assistant Jobs in Sugar Land, TX at Grand Parkway Animal Hospital
We are currently looking for a veterinary assistant. Must be at least 16 years of age and have a reliable mode of transportation. Hours are as follows: 7a-2p, 2p-7p, 9a-6p, 7a-7p and some weekends, there is no set schedule…each week will be scheduled differently. Must have the following qualities and skills: hardworking, ability to communicate with clients, function under pressure, a sincere attitude of compassion and dedication; show respect for clients, team members, and animals at all times, and have a positive and energetic attitude.
At least one year experience in the Veterinary field.
Some duties include: assisting the doctor in surgery, and in the exam rooms, cleaning the kennel facility, looking after the needs of our boarding guests, restrain pets for vaccinations, lift pets and objects weighing up to 50 lbs, answering phones and scheduling appointments, administer vaccinations and blood draws. Compensation is based on experience.
