Responsibilities:
– Assist veterinarians with animal examinations and procedures
– Prepare and restrain animals for examinations and treatments
– Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by veterinarians
– Clean and maintain examination rooms and equipment
– Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic
Experience:
– Previous or animal care facility is preferred
– Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
– Familiarity with common veterinary medications and procedures
– Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
