Family Companion Animal Care Center is looking to add an Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant to our growing team!
We are excited to announce the expansion of our modern PRIVATELY owned urgent care veterinary facility in Mentor, OH. We are searching for skilled, passionate, and engaging Urgent Care Veterinary Technicians to join our team and be a part of our growing animal care center.

This medical facility will be open seven days a week and closed all major holidays. Duties will include in and out urgent care examination, stabilization, diagnostics, and treatments. No surgery or dentistry required – but if interested, the opportunity is available. Follow up care is encouraged with the patients primary veterinarian. If patients are felt to need more supportive care, additional diagnostics, or overnight care, they will be sent to a local 24/7 emergency hospital – no overnight care/hospitalization.
We are looking for:
An Experienced Veterinary Assistant- but willing to speak with new graduates who have graduated from reputable schools/obtained the certification.
Fear Free Certified – we will pay for this certification for you if you are hired!
Family Companion is heavily a Fear-Free facility and we are looking for a Veterinary Assistant with the same mentality.
