Homeward Bound Animal Hospital is hiring a veterinary assistant to join our independently owned small animal practice in Arvada, CO. This position is based primarily at Homeward Bound, with cross-training and occasional shifts at our sister practice, Olde Town Veterinary Clinic, just minutes away — great variety in your work week, and broader experience for your resume.

What you’ll do:
- Greet clients in person and answer phones
- Collect payments and manage front-desk tasks
- Take medical histories and assist with patient restraint
- Support the medical team as they care for patients
- Some cleaning duties (everyone pitches in)
- Learn our electronic medical records system (training provided — comfort with computers, Windows, and basic word processing/spreadsheets is a plus)

Schedule:
- Full or part time; full-time candidates with scheduling flexibility given preference
- At least one Saturday shift per month required (we’re open Saturdays 8–3); willingness to work additional Saturdays is a plus
