Responsibilities:
– Assist veterinarians in providing care to pets.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennel areas.
– Assist with veterinary critical care procedures as directed by the veterinarian.,
-Assist veterinarian during examinations and procedures.
– Front desk duties. Answering phone calls, making appointments, checking in patients, and billing them out.
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in a related field is preferred. But very willing to train the right person.
-Willingness and motivation to learn all aspects of the job.
-Good customer service.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
– Ability to handle animals with care and compassion.
– Physical stamina to lift and restrain animals as needed.
-Punctual and ability to work when scheduled.
