Full-Time Veterinary Assistant – Join Our Team!
Suncoast Animal Clinic, a small, privately owned animal hospital in Bradenton, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
No prior veterinary experience is required—we’re happy to train the right person! This position is perfect for someone passionate about animals and interested in gaining hands-on experience in a veterinary setting.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the veterinarian with procedures
Safely handling and restraining small animals
Collecting, preparing, and processing laboratory samples
Cleaning and maintaining medical equipment
Performing some secretarial duties
General cleaning and upkeep of the clinic
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Must pass a background check
No smoking or drug use
