Job Description
Animal Medical Center of Greeneville is looking to add some experienced talent into our growing team! We are currently a four doctor small animal practice. Due to growth and necessity, we are looking to add Veterinary staff whose main focus is animal care.
The Ideal AMCG Candidate
- A Licensed Veterinary Technician with 1-2 years of clinical experience OR an experienced in Veterinary Medicine with 2-3 of veterinary experience
- A strong knowledge base of animal restraint and disease processes
- Surgical and dental skills with experience
- Vital monitoring experience
- Experience with IDEXX machines and tests
- Proficiency in blood draws and catheter placement
- Experience in ultrasound, radiography, dental radiography and placement
- Experience obtaining patient histories
- Experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications
- A strong knowledge base of medications and purposes
- The ability to adapt to the different needs of each doctor or patient
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Knowledge of Avimark Software Experience is a BONUS!
Wage And Extras
- Based on the candidate’s knowledge and experience in the veterinary field, pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour
