Fire Mountain Veterinary Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our talented team in a fun and professional environment! We are a privately owned, small animal hospital located in Oceanside, CA and pride ourselves on not only providing excellent quality medical care, but also building long term client relationships!
Responsibilities include: animal care, assisting technicians and doctors with patient treatment, processing prescriptions, client correspondence, over-the-counter sales, assisting with the care of boarding pets, telephone reception, appointment scheduling, fee collection, and more. The schedule will include weekend shifts.
Our ideal candidate is reliable, committed to excellent customer service, and is a team player with a caring and compassionate attitude. Prior Veterinary experience is preferred.
