Veterinary Assistant – Full-Time (4-Day Work Week, No Weekends or Holidays!)
Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant looking to join a friendly, supportive, and privately owned small animal/exotics clinic? We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to become part of our dedicated team as our current assistant is relocating to a new state!
About the Position:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our doctors and Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) while providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians and CVTs during exams and procedures
- Handling animals, including exotic species, safely and compassionately in a medical setting
- Performing venipuncture and running in-house laboratory tests
- Checking in clients and assisting with front desk duties as needed
- Answering multi-line phones and communicating with clients in a professional and caring manner
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant is required
- Animal handling experience in a medical or clinical setting is required
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and a true team player with a positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
