Practice Overview
We have moved into a 14,000 sq. ft. facility in Rexford, NY. Our facility was built to protect our patients against infectious respiratory diseases through the use of zoned, fresh and UV sterilized recirculated air and a central wet/dry accelerated hydrogen peroxide vacuum system that allows us to disinfect and stay disinfected. Our wide hallways, large exam rooms, and spacious staff areas will comfort your mother’s heart knowing that you’re not crammed into a small facility where you’re bumping into your coworkers.
We’re also confident that you will enjoy working with our loyal and caring staff. Our staff has been carefully cultivated to weed out the selfish, the dramatic, and the uninterested. We lead by example and we truly care about each other.
We are a small animal, full service animal hospital: We are seeking qualified individuals who:
· Seek answers, think outside the box, and be willing to take on new challenges and procedures
· Assist our doctors and staff so we can provide thorough exams and recommend routine wellness products, services, and treatments
· Have excellent communication skills
· Have a positive attitude
· Look for a long-term commitment with a desire to shape our practice for years to come
Qualifications
· HS diploma or equivalent
· Ability to lift 60lbs
· Reliable and dependable
Preferred:
· Experience working with animals in a veterinary or equivalent environment
· Someone interested in furthering their career in animal medicine
· Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
· Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
· Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
· Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
· Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
