Fillmore Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, growing four doctor practice in Colorado Springs, CO. We are looking for individuals that possess good communication and multitasking skills, as well as attention to detail and positive attitudes that work well with others to join our family.
We are looking for a reliable and personable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to multitask, and remain calm even in stressful situations . We want someone who is accustomed to interacting with clients directly or on the phone in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Answer multiple phone lines in a professional manner
Schedule appointments
Invoice/Take payments from Owners after appointments/procedures have been performed
Basic triage of phone calls (emergency/urgent/non-emergent illnesses)
Maintain proper documentation in medical records
Greet clients as they enter the building
Have basic understanding of routine care of pets (vaccine protocols/deworming)
Basic computer skills
Maintain composure and efficiency during a medical crisis or stressful situation
Work well in a team setting
Pay for this position may vary depending on experience
Previous Veterinary experience preferred
1-2 years experience in customer service field required
