Veterinary & Kennel Receptionist
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Pay: $12–$14/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Must be available weekends; shifts may start as early as 7:00 AM and end as late as 7:00 PM

We are a fast-paced veterinary clinic and boarding facility dedicated to high-quality pet care and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented receptionist who can manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency.
Position Summary:
The Veterinary & Kennel Receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in creating a positive experience for pet owners and their pets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with technology, and excels at following protocols in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and check in patients for veterinary appointments and boarding
Answer phones, return messages, and schedule appointments accurately
Process payments, update medical records, and manage client accounts
Follow clinic and kennel protocols precisely, including intake procedures and documentation
Coordinate with medical and kennel staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming front desk area
Handle sensitive client and patient information with discretion and accuracy
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
Highly computer savvy; able to quickly learn veterinary software and digital workflows
Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Dependable and punctual, with availability on weekends
Able to work shifts starting as early as 7:00 AM and ending as late as 7:00 PM
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
$12–$14/hour based on experience
