We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join our low stress privately owned small animal/equine practice in Northern California. We have served our community for nearly 50 years and have an excellent reputation for compassionate, personalized and affordable care.
Our hospital is centrally located in the spectacular Sierra Nevada foothills where outdoor recreation opportunities are endless, yet shopping, fine dining and vibrant city life is a short drive away.
You will find everything you need to practice your best medicine including a full in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental radiography as well as super friendly and eager RVT’s and assistants who love what they do and work very hard to keep your day running smoothly. Our doctors generally arrive around 8:30 AM and are headed home around 5:30 PM with no after hours or emergency shifts required. The ideal candidate would work 3-4 fixed days each week and one Saturday a month.
Starting salary is $600 a day, but is negotiable based on experience. For a part-time veterinarian (3-4 days per week) we offer:

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive veterinary care to small animals, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
Perform routine examinations and vaccinations.
Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments administered.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure a high standard of care and support in critical situations.
Qualifications
Current and active veterinary license to practice in California.
Excellent communication skills with clients and staff.
Willingness to collaborate with DVM colleagues and support staff to create the best treatment plans and outcomes for our patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $100,800.00 – $132,000.00 per year
