Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Veterinarian , you will:
Provide high-quality veterinary care for a variety of animal patients, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds.
Perform physical exams , diagnostic tests, and surgical procedures as needed.
Develop and communicate treatment plans to clients, ensuring clear understanding and effective care.
Educate clients on preventive care, wellness practices, and other health-related topics.
Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California (or have the ability to obtain licensure).
Be passionate about providing compassionate care and building lasting relationships with clients.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Be committed to professional development and staying current with advances in veterinary medicine.
