Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital
is a combination primary care + emergency and critical care practice seeking an Experienced Veterinarian to join our team!
The hospital is AAHA accredited and VECCS Level 2 Certified in Emergency and Critical Care. It is well equipped with in-house labs, digital radiographs (including dental), endoscopy, and laparoscopy, allowing you to practice the highest level of care. This position offers a unique opportunity for lifestyle balance: practice state-of-the-art veterinary medicine while living in the recreational and cultural center of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
We are located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, between Hendersonville and Flat Rock, North Carolina. Enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, rock climbing, paddling, fishing, and camping. Qualifications:
Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university.
Current State Veterinary License.
DEA registration, which must be obtained and maintained.
Five or more years of experience in veterinary practice.
A desire to continue learning and participate in staff trainingleadership.
