Spay4LA is a mission-driven mobile clinic providing affordable, high-quality spay and neuter surgeries to underserved communities across Los Angeles. Our focus is simple but powerful: reduce pet overpopulation, prevent suffering, and make preventative care accessible where it’s needed most. We’re a small, tight-knit team with a big impact—and we’re looking for a veterinarian who shares our passion for animal welfare.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries in our mobile unit. If you’re passionate about surgery, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a direct difference in your community, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Perform spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats (30–35+ surgeries/day)
Provide medical oversight for the surgical team and ensure patient safety
Conduct physical exams and determine surgical candidacy
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RVTs and support staff
What We’re Looking For:
DVM degree with a California veterinary license in good standing
At least 1 year of surgical experience (shelter or spay/neuter experience a plus)
Comfortable in a high-volume surgical setting
Committed to compassionate care
Reliable, efficient, and calm under pressure
