Leadership Role with Ownership Potential I’m looking for a licensed veterinarian ready to step up—not just to treat patients, but to help run the clinic. This role is ideal for someone interested in: Part-time work (if you already have another position) Leadership – managing staff and clinic operations Growth opportunity – potential for profit-sharing or part-ownership We currently have two great vets on staff, but they’re not in leadership roles. I’m seeking someone who’s ready to take charge and help build something long-term. Think of this as a COO-style position for the clinic. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any conditions.

Administer vaccinations and medications as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.

Perform surgical procedures with precision, maintaining a sterile environment throughout the process.

Provide critical care for animals in need of urgent medical attention, utilizing veterinary critical care knowledge.

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and clinic operations.

Maintain accurate medical records using veterinary terminology, documenting all treatments and procedures performed.

Educate pet owners on animal husbandry practices, proper nutrition, and preventive health measures.

Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and training.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid veterinary license to practice in the relevant state or region.

Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases affecting pets.

Experience with laboratory procedures for diagnostic testing is preferred.

Proficiency in animal handling techniques to ensure the safety of both staff and animals during examinations or treatments.

Familiarity with pet grooming practices is a plus but not mandatory.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
