About the RolePitPet Vet is looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join our Semarang branch. In this role, you’ll lead day-to-day clinical and operational excellence, serving as the daily Person-in-Charge (PIC) and ensuring every pet, client, and team member receives the standard of care PitPet is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end clinical care: anamnesis, physical examination, diagnostics, treatment planning, minor surgery, pre/post-operative care, and emergency response with clear, empathetic communication to pet owners throughout.
- Act as daily PIC of the Semarang branch, overseeing service flow, SOP compliance, and quality of both medical and grooming procedures on the floor.
- Lead and coach the branch team, managing performance, shift coordination, and on-the-job SOP education.
- Serve as first-line responder to medical and operational escalations, running internal debriefs and submitting corrective action plans to the Area Manager.
- Safeguard clinic standards, such as sanitation, sterilization, medical waste (B3) handling, facility condition, and equipment readiness across all clinic zones.
- Manage inventory and stock control for medicines, consumables, food, and operational supplies, including accurate stock opname and shrinkage/expiry monitoring.
Qualifications
- Licensed veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice and active SIP/STRV.
- Proficient in physical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and minor surgical procedures (e.g., castration, wound suturing) independently.
- Skilled in operating and interpreting diagnostic tools including hematology analyzers, ultrasound, and microscopy.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading, coordinating shifts, or serving as PIC in a clinical or medical facility setting.
- Strong communication and empathy skills for professional client handling and complaint resolution; disciplined in SOP execution, including sanitation, sterilization, and medical waste management.
- Willing to be based in or relocate to Semarang, work on a shift system including weekends/holidays, and complete a 3-month probation period.
