Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal anatomy and physiology, along with hands-on experience in animal handling and veterinary critical care. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, providing preventive care, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.
We have three thriving Veterinary clinic’s: Aurora Veterinary Clinic, Mantua Veterinary Clinic and Streetsboro Veterinary Center all located in a 15 minute distance from each location.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health issues in a variety of small animal species.
Perform surgical procedures
Administer vaccinations and medications
Provide guidance to pet owners on proper care and nutrition for their animals.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
A compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners is essential.
