Headwaters Veterinary Center, a full-service, privately owned small animal clinic in Bemidji, is seeking an additional Associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our passionate and dedicated team. Responsibilities / Skills:
* Provide high-quality medical care to small animals, including diagnostics, treatment, surgery, and preventative care.
* Perform routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and surgical procedures (spays, neuters, soft tissue, etc.).
* Create and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, focusing on long-term health and prevention.
* Build lasting relationships with clients by educating them on health, treatment options,
and wellness care for their pets.
* Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care in a friendly and clear manner.
* Work closely with our veterinary technicians, support staff, and clinic owner to deliver compassionate, efficient care.
* Contribute to a positive team environment and provide guidance to junior staff or interns as needed.
* Stay up-to-date on veterinary medicine advances and pursue continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
* Active veterinary license to practice in Minnesota.
* While we welcome all levels of experience, prior small animal clinical experience is a plus. New graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.
