Vet Technician Jobs in Clearwater, FL at Community Veterinary Partners
We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians to join our full-service, small pet hospital in Clearwater (majority dogs, cats, few exotics/rabbits/pocket pets). We have full-time and part-time positions available with competitive wages and an excellent benefits package. Licensed technicians will receive a minimum of $15.00 per hour and non-licensed technicians will receive compensation based on experience. $100 signing bonus will be paid after 3 months.
Our ideal candidate:
Is a “people person”, friendly and organized.
Is able to multi-task while still maintaining enthusiasm when providing exceptional client care.
Has a minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary clinic.
Doesn’t mind staying later than their scheduled shift to help pets in need or finish client call backs.
Helps to maintain positive culture and work environment.
Takes constructive criticism well.
Has physical abilities which include the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to work most Saturdays as a regular shift (we are closed Sundays). We also require 1 Sunday every 2 months to take care of boarded pets.
Has strong desire to learn more about the veterinary field and pet care.
Is open to mentorship as well as personal and professional development for possible promotion in the future.
All employees will be required to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
