Vet Assistant/Receptionist Jobs in Anaheim, CA at Anchor Animal Hospital

“`Duties“`
– Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
– Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
– Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents
– Provide general support to the office staff and assist with various projects as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized reception area

– Equine knowledge and experience preferred
– Familiarity with aseptic technique in a veterinary setting
– Knowledge of pet care and handling techniques
– Experience working in a kennel or animal care facility
– Understanding of veterinary critical care procedures
– Proficiency as a veterinary assistant, including animal restraint and basic medical procedures
– Knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy
– Ability to perform animal catheterization under supervision
– Strong animal husbandry skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.39 – $22.15 per hour
