This is a junior-level, field-based position for candidates with Matric/DAE qualifications who can practically conduct 220+ point vehicle inspections using mobile diagnostic devices and other professional inspection tools.
This is not an office-based position and is not intended for candidates applying solely on the basis of a university or senior engineering degree.
Please do not apply if you do not have relevant practical vehicle inspection experience, preferably with an automotive marketplace or inspection service similar to CarAdvisers, such as PakWheels, OLX, or CarFirst.
We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience inspecting actual vehicles, not just academic automotive knowledge.
CarAdvisers is looking for Vehicle Inspectors to join our field inspection team in Islamabad & Rawalpindi.
You will inspect customer vehicles using the CarAdvisers inspection app, diagnostic tools and standardized inspection procedures, then record accurate findings and submit detailed inspection reports.
This is a field-based position involving regular travel to customer locations.
• Inspect engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, body, paint and interior
• Identify mechanical, electrical, structural and cosmetic issues
• Conduct inspections using CarAdvisers’ defined inspection procedures
• Use diagnostic tools where required
• Accurately record inspection findings in the
• Complete and submit detailed inspection reports
• Clearly explain major vehicle issues when required
• Maintain CarAdvisers’ inspection, accuracy and quality standards
• Ensure every inspection is completed professionally and on time
• 1+ year of practical vehicle inspection experience
• Experience with an online automotive marketplace or digital inspection platform is preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Good understanding of vehicle parts, components and their functions
• Practical experience in mechanical work, auto electrical, dent/paint or car servicing
• Automotive diploma/certification with practical experience is an advantage
• Previous auto marketplace experience is preferred
• Must be able to identify and assess vehicle faults accurately
• Must currently live in Islamabad or Rawalpindi
• Candidates from other cities will not be considered
• Own motorcycle and valid driving licence are mandatory
• Good communication, punctuality and professional conduct
