Full time Urgent Care Veterinarian – Great Opportunity + Amazing Schedules – Bradenton, FL
A partner hospital in Bradenton, FL is looking for a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Florida, and have at least 3 years of experience in an urgent care setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care to pets in need of immediate medical attention.
Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe medications and treatments.
Perform surgeries as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
Communicate with clients about their pets’ health, care plans, and progress.
Qualifications:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
Active license in good standing to practice in Florida (or the ability to obtain one).
At least 3 years of experience in an urgent care setting.
Strong clinical skills and ability to handle a variety of cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and the team.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
