A well-established partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dynamic team in Chicago, IL / Arlington Heights, IL . This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian passionate about providing high-quality urgent care in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide immediate medical care to animals in an urgent care setting.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
Perform surgeries as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets’ health and treatment options.
Ideal Candidate: This role is ideal for veterinarians with a DVM or equivalent degree who have experience in urgent care medicine. The clinic values individuals who:

Key Skills & Expertise:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
Active veterinary license in good standing in Illinois (or the ability to obtain one).
Strong knowledge of urgent care procedures and treatments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Work Environment:
Flexible Schedule with swing/second shifts and a focus solely on urgent care (no wellness care).
No abdominal surgeries required.
