Apartner hospital in Albuquerque, NM, is looking for a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care for animals in need, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
Perform necessary surgeries and medical procedures
Prescribe medications and treatments for ongoing care
Maintain accurate patient records
Communicate clearly with clients about their pets’ care and treatment plans
Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to enhance the overall patient experience
Qualifications:
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
Active veterinary license in good standing to practice in New Mexico (or ability to obtain one)
1-2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred
Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle a varied caseload
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
