A partner hospital in Frisco, TX is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine, the ability to work independently, and a passion for providing high-quality care to animals in need.
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care to animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries.
Perform surgery as needed and administer necessary treatments and medications.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure effective communication with clients regarding their pets’ health.
Manage a varied caseload during open hours, working with a supportive and skilled team.
Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
1-2 years of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and the clinical team.
Ideal Candidate:
This position is ideal for veterinarians of all experience levels, with a preference for candidates who have experience in emergency or urgent care.
